This is a full campaign where the party navigates a topsy-turvy world inspired by musical theater, including Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Hadestown, Wicked, and TV’s Gallavant. And yes, players are encouraged to sing!
For this project, I wrote the chapter of random encounters in the kingdom of Richester. This meant that not only did I get to to create homages to a great variety of musicals outside of the core group, but I also had extra opportunity to collaborate with the other writers in order to create hooks in some of the encounters to help keep players on track in an extensive storyline. In addition to story encounters, I created some reusable encounters with random aspects.
