When it comes to TTRPGs, I specialize in writing adventures, encounters, and monster design. I’ve also worked on mechanics like backgrounds and subclasses, and love worldbuilding both from scratch and within existing IPs. My favorite design is finding a simple mechanic that evocatively captures the narrative elements of a setting.
Most of my work is on DMs Guild, where I have written and collaborated on multiple bestselling projects, including my own Platinum bestseller ‘The Pub that Crawls.’ I have recently begun branching out on DrivethruRPG and Itch.io; outside of 5e, I enjoy learning new systems and am most familiar with Pathfinder, Cypher System, PBtA and FitD. I have a strong foundation in research from an MA in history, and my work in instructional design and user experience has developed my ability to present complex information in an easily digestible way.
Here’s a selection of titles I wrote or collaborated on with PDF samples. Feel free to contact me to request additional samples or review copies.
The Pub that Crawls
In this adventure set in the Strixhaven universe, you and your party must complete a challenge that no other student has ever completed: visit six magical pubs in a single night! Will you be the first to find... the Pub that Crawls?
For this Platinum best-seller, I created six unique locations and a mix of combat, social, and exploration challenges intended to give players leeway to find creative solutions. The moduler design means that "The Pub that Crawls" can be played as a single adventure, but the locations can also be slotted into a DMs home campaign world.

Portfolio DetailsThrough the Veil: Monsters of the Feywild
This is a compendium of whimsical monsters of the Feywild. For this collaboration, I contributed eight monsters across all of D&D's level tiers, including descriptions, stat blocks, an NPC, and even a custom spell. I also did initial editing and proofreading for several monsters contributed by other writers.

Hard to be the Bard – A musical campaign in the Feywild
This is a full campaign where the party navigates a topsy-turvy world inspired by musical theater, including Hamilton, The Phantom of the Opera, Hadestown, Wicked, and TV's Gallavant. And yes, players are encouraged to sing!
For this project, I wrote the chapter of random encounters in the kingdom of Richester. This meant that not only did I get to to create homages to a great variety of musicals outside of the core group, but I also had extra opportunity to collaborate with the other writers in order to create hooks in some of the encounters to help keep players on track in an extensive storyline. In addition to story encounters, I created some reusable encounters with random aspects.

Mordenkainen’s Memory Palace
Enter the first demiplane made by the famous archmage, a place woven from the stuff of memories. Recruit alternate versions of Mordenkainen himself in order to defeat a rogue’s gallery of his greatest enemies!
This is a 5e adventure for the D&D Adventurer's League organized play program. Published 50 years after the original game, I decided to make a story about Mordenkainen as a tribute to one of the game's original creators (Arn Yonson and other prominent PCs get cameos too!) This adventure takes place in the Planescape setting and takes advantage of the infinite possibilities therein.

Beauty’s Beast
In a land where stories come to life and battles are fought with words, your heroes will need to navigate a fractured fairy tale to restore the domain to peace.
I wrote this adventure for the D&D Adventurer's League organized play program. As part of the season coinciding with D&D's Feywild campaign, this adventure emphasizes social and roleplaying solutions with optional combat, though it does culminate in a magical debate where characters can use their best reasoned arguments to make attacks!

School of 5 Eras
Though the concept is based on a joke, this is a fully fledged subclass for 5e D&D as well as a tribute to the game's history. It's absolutely free, but for convenience, I included a sample of the class below.
